Shooting a wedding is a task that requires careful planning, preparation, and, of course, the right gear. The equipment you choose plays a crucial role in capturing those cherished moments that will be treasured for a lifetime. Popular choices include the Canon R5, Canon R, Sony A1 (The Beast), Sony a7r III, or Fujifilm X-T4/X-T5. My all time favorite brand is an edgy brand Leica and Hassalbald. Nevertheless, Ensure you have at least two camera bodies and a backup in case of technical issues.

Start with a fast prime lens, such as a 35mm, 50mm or 85mm, for beautiful portraits and details. Wide-angle lenses like a 24-70mm or 16-35mm are ideal for capturing the venue, group shots, and environmental portraits. Consider a telephoto lens, like a 70-200mm, for discreetly capturing candid moments during the ceremony or speeches.
Lighting Equipment: While natural light is often preferred for its softness and authenticity, weddings often present challenging lighting conditions. A powerful external flash, such as the Godox or Canon Speedlite, will help you handle low-light situations, fill in shadows, and add creative lighting effects. Batteries and Chargers: Weddings can be lengthy affairs, so ensure you have extra fully charged batteries for your cameras and flash units. You must have at least 8 to 10 units. Invest in high-quality batteries specific to your camera model to ensure reliable performance. Don't forget to pack your chargers and consider using a portable battery pack for on-the-go charging.

Don't forget to pack lens filters (such as polarizers or neutral density filters), lens cleaning kit, lens hoods, reflectors, and spare camera straps.
